We are seeking a dedicated Team Manager (BCFT DFE) to oversee a team of professional Social Workers and Community Resource Workers in Bradford. As a Team Manager (BCFT DFE), you will be responsible for managing a team dedicated to delivering impactful outcomes for vulnerable children and families. Key Responsibilities for the Team Manager (BCFT DFE):
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Social Workers and Community Resource Workers
- Drive continuous service improvement to enhance outcomes for children and families
- Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring timely and effective intervention
- Uphold safeguarding standards and promote best practice
- Act as a central point of contact within the local community, fostering strong relationships
- Contribute to developing innovative solutions to meet community needs
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in social work or children and families services
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and child-first principles
- Ability to motivate and guide a team in a dynamic environment
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary of £51,356 - £54,495 per annum, pro-rated for part-time hours
- Additional £3000 Retention Payment per annum, pro-rata
- Flexible part-time schedule: 18.5 hours per week, starting Wednesday PM, Thursday, and Friday
- Based at Keighley Town Hall, Keighley
