Telecare Team Leader (Night Shifts) – 2-Week Contract

We are seeking a dedicated Telecare Team Leader to join a dynamic team for a 2-week contract, providing vital support to vulnerable individuals during night shifts. About the Role – Telecare Team Leader

The Telecare Team Leader will oversee a team delivering responsive telecare services overnight. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of care and service delivery, supervising staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring clients receive compassionate and professional support at all times. This role involves working a 37-hour week on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays, with shifts starting at 23:00. Mileage expenses are reimbursed, and full, current UK driving license and business-use insurance are required.

As a Telecare Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supervising a team delivering night-time telecare services
  • Monitoring team performance and implementing improvements
  • Ensuring high standards of customer care and operational efficiency
  • Supporting and motivating team members to achieve service objectives
  • Managing day-to-day operations effectively during night shifts
  • Collaborating with statutory services and partner agencies to support vulnerable adults
  • Analyzing performance data to identify service improvements
  • Maintaining a calm, organised, and decisive approach in a demanding environment

Candidate Skills & Requirements – Telecare Team Leader

  • Leadership, supervision, or management experience within care, customer service, contact centres, or emergency response environments
  • Knowledge of caring for vulnerable adults and older people
  • Experience working with statutory services and partner agencies
  • Strong IT, telephone, and communication skills
  • Analytical ability to interpret performance data
  • Calm, professional, and proactive attitude
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle with business-use insurance
  • Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
