About the Role: Telecare Team Leader (Permanent Night Duty) – Grade G
As a Telecare Team Leader (Permanent Night Duty) - Grade G, you will oversee and support a team working night shifts on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays. Your leadership will ensure excellent service delivery in a busy environment, coordinating with partner and statutory agencies to support vulnerable adults effectively.
Candidate Responsibilities for the Telecare Team Leader (Permanent Night Duty) – Grade G:
- Leading and supporting a team within a telecare environment, providing supervision and guidance
- Managing night shift duties, ensuring 24/7 service delivery excellence
- Utilizing performance data and benchmarking to improve operational efficiency
- Maintaining strong communication with partner agencies and internal teams
- Demonstrating excellent customer service skills to meet client needs
- Managing various computer and telephone systems to handle calls and data
- Supporting team members with training and development opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and service standards
Candidate Requirements for the Telecare Team Leader (Permanent Night Duty) – Grade G:
- Proven experience in leading and supporting a team, ideally within a telecare environment
- Strong understanding of services for vulnerable adults and older people
- Management and supervisory experience within a customer care environment
- A full and current driving licence and access to a vehicle for work with business use insurance (mileage paid)
- Vibrant personality that thrives in a busy environment
- Experience using performance data and benchmarking tools
- Excellent computer and telephone skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer care
