We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Rotherham for an experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join their busy theatre team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated nurse to take on flexible shifts within a supportive clinical environment.

Job Title: Theatre Scrub Nurse
Location: Rotherham
Contract: Agency / Locum Shifts Available
Pay Rates: £21.73 p/h – £34.17 p/h (Ltd) Equivalent to £19.55 – £30.37 p/h (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled scrub assistance during surgical procedures.
• Prepare, check, and manage theatre equipment and instrumentation.
• Work closely with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high standards of care.
• Adhere to infection control policies and theatre best practice guidelines.
• Support colleagues across pre and post-operative care when required.

Requirements:

• NMC registration (Registered Nurse).
• Minimum 6–12 months recent experience as a Scrub Nurse in a theatre setting.
• Competence in at least one surgical speciality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
