Tribunal and Complaints Officer – Job Overview
As a Tribunal and Complaints Officer, you will play a vital role in managing SEND complaints and tribunal cases. Your specialist knowledge will help ensure cases are handled efficiently and statute compliance is maintained. This contract position lasts for 2 weeks, with the possibility of extension depending on project requirements.
Candidate Responsibilities for the Tribunal and Complaints Officer:
- Manage and respond to SEND complaints in accordance with statutory guidance and local procedures
- Lead on tribunal cases, including documentation preparation, evidence gathering, and case management
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve disputes swiftly
- Provide expert advice on SEND legislation, with a focus on tribunal processes
- Assist in reducing backlog and improving overall service performance
- Ensure all activities are completed within specified timescales and to high standards
