Urgent Care Practitioner – Flexible Shifts | Merseyside

Are you an experienced Urgent Care or Triage Nurse looking for flexible work and excellent rates? We are currently recruiting skilled clinicians to support urgent care services across Merseyside, offering both telephone triage and face-to-face consultations.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality care within urgent care settings
• Provide telephone triage and in-person assessments
• Work across days, evenings, and weekends
• Use your clinical expertise to make autonomous decisions in high-pressure environments

 Pay & Flexibility

• From £27.00 (£23.84 PAYE Inc) per hour (Ltd)
• Enhanced rates for nights and weekends

 Essential Requirements

• Valid NMC Registration
• Relevant nursing qualification/degree

 Essential Experience

• Telephone triage / urgent care centre experience
• Background in Emergency, Urgent Care, or Primary Care settings
• Proven autonomous clinical decision-making skills
• Strong triage and rapid assessment capabilities
• Ability to perform under pressure in dynamic environments

 Desirable Skills

• Clinical examination & diagnostic skills (Level 6/7)
• Evidence of ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
• Experience using digital systems such as Adastra or EMIS
