Ringrose Law is seeking a dedicated Wills and Probate Solicitor to join our successful team. About the Role – Wills and Probate Solicitor

As a Wills and Probate Solicitor at Ringrose Law, you will handle a varied caseload that includes wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, and Deputyship applications to the Court of Protection. The position is based in Boston, Lincolnshire, with the option for full-time or part-time (3 days per week) employment, working from both our Boston and Peterborough offices. The Wills and Probate Solicitor will be responsible for managing client matters efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care and confidentiality.

Candidate Responsibilities – Wills and Probate Solicitor

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving wills, probate, powers of attorney, and Deputyship applications
  • Promote the firm’s private client services, focusing on Wills and Probate
  • Provide accurate and timely legal advice to clients in a professional manner
  • Keep clients informed about progress, outcomes, and costs
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of all client and firm documentation
  • Achieve billing targets and maintain detailed records of work performed
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external bodies
  • Support personal development and undertake relevant training, including STEP qualification support
  • Uphold high standards of professional work and client care

Requirements – Wills and Probate Solicitor

  • Previous experience in Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, or Deputyship applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Presentable, confident, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of case management systems (training provided)
  • Desire and commitment to further your specialisation, with support for STEP training
