YP Recovery Worker - Stoke

We are seeking a dedicated Young Persons Recovery Worker to join a drug and alcohol service in Stoke. If you have experience in substance misuse and a strong desire to support individuals on their recovery journey, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a worthwhile cause while working with a reputable staffing agency.

Role: Young Persons Recovery Worker
Rate: £18.14 to £20.62 per hour (PAYE exc.)/ £20.15 to £23 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)
Location: Stoke 
Working: 5 days per week. 37.5 hours.
Contract: 3 months on going

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Must have an active enhnaced DBS 
• Deliver compassionate support to clients with substance misuse challenges.
• Assist clients in developing and implementing recovery plans
• Monitor client progress and record detailed case notes
• Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for recovery
• Collaborate with external agencies and health professionals
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies and best practices in substance misuse support. 
• Experience working with substance misuse or related fields
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
