Our History

2005 - Richard Freye begins his own Recruitment business with a view to utilising the strong processes he had learnt in his previous roles and creating long lasting relationships with clients

2006 - SCS moves to Guild Hall Street in Preston and the business begins to supply to a number of councils and NHS Trusts

2009 - SCS has gone from strength to strength supplying specialist substance misuse, criminal justice and social care staff and has now outgrown the facilities at Guild Hall Steet, a move to Marshall House is decided upon to aid the growth of SCS. This is also the year in which SCS were able to supply staff to the NHS through the Buying Solutions framework, we have continued to supply through frameworks such as GPS, CCS, Health Trust Europe and LPP ever since.

2010 - SCS is successful in its application to supply through the Procurement For Housing (PFH) framework, this is a fantastic achievement for the then fledgling, Social Housing desk. 

2011 - SCS starts its Legal desk

2013 - The healthcare division is re-branded to form Service Care Health. Service Care Construction is also launched. 

2014 - SCS is successful in its application to supply the Scottish Excel framework extending the work already done in this region.

2015 - SCS outgrows Marshall House and moves into brand new offices at Starkie Street. Click here to read more about the move to our new offices.

- SCS settle into Arthur House, launch a new website and launch our IT division

2017 - In preparation for SCS' two year anniversary at Arthur House, plans for a revamp in the office are afoot. Keep an eye out here for pictures of what we have planned.
