Lending a Hand in the Community

Here at Service Care Solutions, we pride ourselves on being in a position to help others when we can - we have a dedicated CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) committee who work on this all year round.

The Space Centre asked if we could help with some gardening before the winter sets in. Six members of our team went down to lend a hand, including our MD Richard Freye, our Director Chris Musgrove and even Richard's 8 year old son Arthur!

They were tasked with clearing the flower beds and doing some general weeding of the beautiful garden and, with true Service Care Solutions spirit, they cracked on with gusto!

The Space Centre provide a place where those with physical, learning and/or emotional difficulties may more easily acquire skills and enjoy experiences usually denied them. They have a number of amazing multi-sensory spaces and do fantastic work.

Andrea Baker, Fundraiser at The Space Centre, commented, "Service Care Solutions have been a great support, not only through financial donations over the last few years, but also with volunteers to help when needed. Recently they worked very hard in clearing weeds from the borders to make our beautiful garden look fabulous again and ready for the winter months ahead. Without volunteers such as these very kind people giving up their valuable time, we could not keep the place looking great (and therefore enjoyable) for all our clients to visit. We are indebted to the team and wish to send a huge THANK YOU to all that came along. For once the weather was kind and the results look amazing!"

We would like to thank Paul Magee, Sophie Atkinson, Cheyenne Atkinson, Jake Howard, Richard Freye, Chris Musgrove and of course, Arthur Freye, for volunteering their time!
