What does your role as a recruitment consultant involve?
I work in Finance Recruitment focusing on Public Sector roles in the Midlands and South-West, so this means conversing with finance professionals, as well as companies with financial needs to provide the best possible outcomes for everyone involved.
What does your day-to-day role look like?
Learning about the finance sector through candidates, clients, job specs, and colleagues! Communicating with companies to make sure I’m creating accurate adverts and reaching the best candidates for the job, and vice versa making sure the jobs are right for the candidates.
What do you enjoy the most about your role?
I most enjoy learning about and getting to know new people and new industries. There’s so much behind the scenes that goes unnoticed and to be a part of that is really rewarding.
