Salary: £15.00 LTD Umbrella Per Hour
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Type: Temporary Ongoing
Location: Bournemouth, BH12
Start Date: ASAP
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday | 09:00am - 17:00pm

Are you passionate about improving the quality of life for residents in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole? We are seeking an Adaptations Co-Ordinator to support our client's disabled facilities grant team. This vital role ensures residents can remain in their homes by coordinating the allocation of work and supporting colleagues to adhere to policy and process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant systems (MOSAIC, Ferret, Civica Flare) to support Adaptations Officers and generate necessary reports.
  • Act as the first point of contact for referrals, conducting means tests to establish eligibility for grant applications.
  • Provide administrative support, including writing application outcome letters and maintaining excellent working relationships with council staff and external agencies.
  • Allocate referrals, arrange feasibility visits, and manage the team's mailbox to ensure prompt and efficient customer service.
  • Administer DFG web pages and internal information systems in line with the Council's Digital Agenda.
  • Support the development of customer experience for applicants and manage low-level DFG cases as needed.
  • Prepare applicants' schedules of work and oversee the customer feedback process.
  • Ensure compliance with Council policies and statutory requirements, including the Equality Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, and Data Protection Act.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in writing and developing written materials, including web content.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

Additional Requirements:

  • A satisfactory DBS check is required for this role.
