Job Description

An established Accountancy firm based in Central London is looking for an experienced Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager to join their firm on a permanent basis. The post holder will work on a portfolio of clients reporting to various Audit Partners. The portfolio may include audits, accounts preparations and management accounts, as well as any other work from time to time which may reasonably be considered part of the role. The portfolio will be smaller than that of an Audit Manager, otherwise the key responsibilities are the same.

The Assistant Manager will oversee smaller audit assignments from start to finish, managing teams of one or more trainees to meet reporting deadlines and client agreed deadlines. The post holder will review analytical procedures, plan audit tests, provide assistance to the Audit Partner, review current processes and ensure Audit Automation has been fully signed off and completed.

Ideal Candidate

  • IIA, ACCA, ACA OR CCAB Equivalent Qualified
  • 7+ years of experience in Audits and Accounts management
  • Use of CCH Audit Automation software desirable
  • Experience in practice preferred over industry
  • Experience of managing clients essential
