Role: Senior Accountant
Location: Mansfield
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per year
Working: Hybrid (2-3 days from home)
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards
- Auditing small companies, including both individual entities and group structures
- Assisting senior accountants during audit fieldwork and assignments
- Preparation of draft corporate tax computations and supporting documentation
- Compiling management accounts and providing financial insights where necessary
- Effectively prioritising and managing workload to meet strict deadlines
- Working confidently with a range of accounting software packages, including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Performing ad-hoc assignments and supporting the wider team as required.
