Band 2 Mental Healthcare Assistant Vacancy - Guildford

Hi,

We are recruiting for Band 2 Mental Healthcare Assistant for an NHS site based in Guildford. These are long-term temporary agency positions for a minimum of 3 months.

Victoria Ward consists of 24 beds for older persons suffering from an acute mental health crisis as a result of conditions such as depression and bi-polar disorder. They provide admission for people in the South West Surrey district who are in need of short stay inpatient individual assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.

As a mental Health care assistant you will be responsible for implementing care plans for patients and helping them with their day to day lives and recoveries. You will also be required to perform observations with a focus on spotting any deterioration or changes to their well being.

Location - Guildford

Vacancies - Band 2 Mental Healthcare Assistants. Long Days 07:00-20:00

Candidates - Must have previous Mental Healthcare Experience. Inpatient Unit experience would be preferred.

Rates - £12 weekdays / £14 nights & Saturdays / £16 Sundays & Bank Holidays

Sign Up Bonus - £150 sign up bonus for any new nurses that register with our agency. This will be paid in your first pay packet.

Referral Bonus - £250 referral fee bonus for any nurse you refer who we place in to work on a 3-month contract.
