Service Care Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Exeter! You will find yourself providing a medicine management service and administering medicines against valid prescriptions. You'll also work in the dispensary when required and ensuring high standards of work are maintained.

Job Type: Band 5 Pharmacy Technician

Contract: Temporary

Pay Rate: £25 - £36 per hour LTD

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will administer medicines against valid prescriptions, as well as assisting the pharmacist in providing advice about the appropriate use of medicines. You'll also review expiry dates and storage facilities for medicines, reporting any deficiencies to the pharmacist.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent, and registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician
  • 2 years' experience of working in a pharmacy
  • Ability to work well under pressure, both as a team and individually
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
