Location: Onsite – Aylesbury (HP19)
Pay: Dependent on experience
Duties:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work alongside Clinical Pharmacists, GP practices, and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to support medicines optimisation and clinical pharmacy services. Your role will include:
- Reviewing discharge and clinic letters
- Supporting medication safety monitoring (e.g. high-risk drugs)
- Assisting with medicines improvement and cost-effective prescribing
- Resolving medicines-related queries with clinicians and admin staff
- Conducting audits and contributing to quality improvement projects
- Supporting Structured Medication Reviews
Essential Criteria:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider clinical team
- Experience working within Primary Care
