Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist for a LOCUM contract supporting Norfolk and Suffolk Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide psychological support to Adults with mental Health conditions. The contract will run for an initial period of 3 months with the likelihood of extension.
Job Purpose: Band 8a Clinical Psychologist
Pay Rate: £35.00 LTD p/h + £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus
Location: Norwich
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (flexible)
Contract: 37.5 hours per week (Part Time Considered)
The post holder will provide high-quality psychological services to service users with complex mental health and forensic needs within secure settings, contributing to the development and delivery of a multidisciplinary approach to care and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulations, and interventions for service users with complex needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to offer tailored assessment and intervention strategies.
- Implement NICE-recommended therapeutic interventions and develop bespoke solutions for risk management.
- Consult and provide guidance to other professionals on risk assessment and management.
- Supervise assistant psychologists and offer managerial support to professionals from various disciplines.
Requirements
- HCPC Registration
- Previous experience working with Adults
- Substantial Mental Health experience
