Care Support Assistant
An agency temporary to permanent position as a Care Support Assistant has become available within a Rapid Response Service in Colchester and the surrounding areas.
Hours - Part-time and Full-time
Pay Rates - £12ph Ltd (inclusive of Employers National Insurance) - £9.90 ph PAYE once permanent
Location - Colchester, Essex
Role:
This role is to work as part of an outstanding Rapid Response Team in Colchester and the surrounding areas such as Wivenhoe, Elmstead Market, Mersea, Great Bentley, St Osyth and Frinton. You will be supporting patients in these areas to prevent them from going into hospital or support them after they have been discharged from hospital. These tend to be short term support packages also including those waiting to go onto longer term care packages. Our support team work alongside health partners at Colchester Hospital and within the local community. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, energetic and likes to work with a full engaging fast paced environment. Candidate Requirements:
- Essential to be a driver and have own vehicle
- Preferable to have NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Flexible towards shift availability
- Preferable to have a valid DBS
