Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Hayling Island
Salary: Up to £45,000
Welcome Bonus: £5,000
Performance Bonus: 21% of Annual Salary

Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Registered Manager to lead a Children’s Residential Home in Hayling Island. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the home. You will ensure the highest standards of care are delivered, creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and ensure positive outcomes for children
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and service development
  • Lead and inspire a team to provide therapeutic, child-centred support
  • Act as a role model, building trusting relationships with children and staff
  • Manage staff development, training, appraisals, and performance
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards
  • Monitor budgets and financial performance of the home
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior role within a similar setting
  • Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
  • Experience in budget and financial management
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to participate in on-call duties
