Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonuses
Welcome Bonus: £5,000
Performance Bonus: 21% of Annual Salary

Keys Group is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Manager to take the lead in opening and running a brand-new 3-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home in Leicester. We're looking for an experienced, passionate leader ready to create a safe, nurturing environment that truly transforms young lives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading a brand-new home from launch to success
  • Delivering outstanding care and outcomes for young people
  • Managing and developing a strong, committed staff team
  • Providing therapeutic, child-focused leadership
  • Ensuring compliance with all care regulations and safeguarding practices
  • Overseeing budgeting, staffing, training, and strategic development
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor to staff and young people
What You’ll Need
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar setting at a senior level
  • Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People’s Workforce
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Strong working knowledge of children’s legislation and safeguarding (Children Act 1989, Children’s Homes Regulations)
  • Experience managing budgets and financial performance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility and willingness to be part of the on-call rota
  • A genuine passion for supporting children to thrive
