Children's Practice Manager
Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Children's Practice Manager in Greenwich
This is for the Children in Care and Care Leavers Service Team. The role is hybrid working and the practice leader would be expected to be in the office at least 3 days a week and full week when the team is on duty.
Main Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, some of your responsibilities will be:
- Provide day to day direction to and co-ordination of staff working in the Assessment and Support Teams
- To assist with the operational management of the team and take forward the implementation of new initiatives alongside the Team Leader.
- Allocate work, agree targets, monitor and implement training programmes and generally develop and motivate staff to perform effectively.
- To set standards and priorities for the team, promoting quality management standards and the effective implementation and monitoring of standards, policies and procedures.
- Provide supervision and take line management responsibility for up to 2 qualified social workers
Requirements:
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
- Full Enhanced DBS
- Experience of supervising children's social care staff
