⏳ Contract: 1 Month (Likely Extension)
πŸ’° Pay: Β£16.93 per hour
πŸ•’ Hours: 37 hours per week (08:00-22:45 / 10:00-22:00) - No night shifts or sleep-ins

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for dedicated Residential Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to looked-after children in small group homes.

Please note that only candidates with a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification can be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

βœ… Provide emotional, social, and practical support to young people in line with care plans
βœ… Create a safe, nurturing environment, promoting independence and life skills
βœ… Build positive relationships with young people, families, and professionals
βœ… Support education, well-being, and social inclusion
βœ… Manage challenging behaviours using restorative approaches
βœ… Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures

What We're Looking For:

βœ” Level 2 English & Maths
βœ” Experience working with children
βœ” Commitment to high-quality care and positive outcomes
βœ” Strong communication and teamwork skills
βœ” Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification
