Children Services Team Leader needed with a Children's Charity based in Aylesbury
Start Date- ASAP
Location - Aylesbury
Duration - initially 3 months
Hours per week - 37 (Tuesday - Saturday)
Salary - £16 an hour
Description:
- Working Tuesday - Saturday (8.45am - 5.15pm). You will also be required to cover 1 youth club per week, either Tuesday or Thursday (1.30pm - 9pm)
- You will give children and young people time away from their family so they can develop independence, learn new skills, make friends and reduce loneliness whilst giving parents and carers a break from their caring responsibilities and providing time to spend with other children in the family
- Leading and working inside a team supporting children and young people to reach their potential, across multiple areas of day to day lives
- Focusing on meeting social, emotional, health and personal care needs for all service users
- Leading on activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, leisurely visits, physical and imaginative play, outdoor games and sensory play
What is required?
- S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Experience of managing cases, in accordance with agreed procedures and completing assessments, planning reviews to ensure positive outcomes
- Experience within a similar role
