Pay Rate: £27.00 per hour (Umbrella) / £21.71 per hour (PAYE, excluding holiday pay)
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner with experience in Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) to join an NHS service in Birmingham. This is a full-time agency contract offering a rewarding opportunity to support individuals at a critical stage in their mental health journey.
Role Overview: You will be responsible for delivering early intervention services to individuals experiencing first-episode psychosis or those at high risk. The role involves comprehensive assessments, care planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions, while working closely with families and multi-agency teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and risk evaluations
- Develop and implement recovery-focused care plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT-informed approaches)
- Liaise with families, carers, and external agencies
- Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to service development
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Qualified RMN, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist
- Current registration with NMC, HCPC, or equivalent
- Experience in Early Intervention or community mental health services
- Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills
- Enhanced DBS (can be arranged by Service Care Solutions)
