Compliance Officer – Lifts | Housing Association - Kent 
£20 per hour Umbrella LTD / Deemed Inside IR35 – equivalent PAYE
37 hours per week
3-month initial contract (likely extension)

We are currently seeking a Compliance Officer for Lifts to join a Housing in Maidstone, Kent on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring 100% compliance across all lifts within our portfolio, maintaining accurate records, and supporting communication between contractors, residents, and internal departments.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure full compliance on all lifts within the housing portfolio.
  • Check and upload certification to various compliance platforms.
  • Monitor the compliance inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Take minutes during monthly contractor meetings.
  • Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets with accurate and up-to-date data.
  • Carry out data reconciliation to ensure information accuracy.
  • Check and process invoices for lift-related works.
  • Collaborate with contractors and other internal departments to provide accurate and timely updates to residents.
Requirements:
  • Experience in compliance monitoring and administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
