Responsibilities-
- Carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance on domestic properties both tenanted and voided.
- This will including servicing tenanted properties for current owners and refurbishing voided properties for new owners.
- Diagnosing and repairing or installing new light fixtures, ventilation fans, and switches/socket outlets.
- Conducting fault finding and remedial work to ensure all electrical systems are safe and functional.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition) and health & safety standards.
- Perform PAT testing and work with electrical systems in occupied and void properties.
Skills required
- Valid gold card ECS 18th edition
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably within social housing or property maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Work in a team or independently, with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively.
