Our Client in the Public Sector based in the East Midlands is currently looking for a Consultant withing Environmental Health to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a Part time, Hybrid working, contract role based in Leicestershire, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years practical experience of working as an Environmental Health Officer within local government undertaking duties in relation to food control and health and safety.
The purpose of the role is to help manage and guide a team of up to 5 Environmental Health Officers.
- Providing technical support to 5 EHOs / Food Safety Officers (including team meetings and case management meetings with each member of staff, accompanied visits on complex cases)
- Complete the review of operational procedure notes relating to the food controls with the Team Manager
- Mentoring and developing staff and able to give accurate and competent advice.
- Attend LLR Environmental Health Best Practice meetings
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £45 per hour Umbrella LTD on a three day contract.
