Hours- Various Shifts (Part Time- Full time)
Location - Derby
Pay rate - £10.00 PAYE

• Deep clean patient equipment, e.g. commodes, drip stands etc. in accordance with disinfection policy
• Deep clean all sanitary areas, including washbasins, sinks, sluices, nursing sluices, baths, showers, toilets and urinals
• Deep clean interior of cupboards, wardrobes and drawers
• Deep clean all soft and hard floors.
• Deep clean all furniture, fixtures and fittings, ledges, pipes, tiles, glass partitions, walls, doors and panels, internal windows and window blinds
• Change ward and departmental curtains and deep clean all blinds
• Deliver the highest standards of cleaning service to the wards and departments at all times observing work schedules and deep cleaning specifications requirements
• Deep clean all waste bins and refuse containers and ensure refuse bags are labelled with place of origin before taking to the waste holds.
• Deep clean all high level areas including ventilation points
• Shampoo all carpets and remove all stains
• Strip and seal all hard floors
• Deep clean isolation rooms
• Deliver good principles of customer care ensuring helpfulness, awareness and compassion to patients, visitors, staff and colleagues
• Undertake training as required to fulfil this role and any further training which will enhance both personal effectiveness and also the delivery of high standards of service
• Work co-operatively with colleagues as part of the team and perform additional duties as and when directed by the Facilities Supervisor or Manager
