As a Family Contact Worker, you will:
- Facilitate, supervise, and observe family contact visits in line with agreed care plans.
- Provide emotional and practical support to children and parents during sessions.
- Record and report observations clearly and accurately, contributing to ongoing assessments.
- Help ensure a safe, structured environment that promotes positive relationships.
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to monitor and review action plans.
- Has experience working with children and families, and understands child development.
- Understands child protection procedures and the legal framework around family contact.
- Has excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Holds a full driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
