Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a law firm based in Lewisham who are seeking a Paralegal to join their family department. Please find below further details about the position.

ROLE: Family Legal Assistant
LOCATION: Lewisham, London
SALARY: £20,000 to £22,000 per annum

The Role

• To assist the Solicitors and Lawyers within the family department progress caseloads of Family Law matters
• Matters will be related to divorce, child care matters, financial remedies, separation agreements and care proceedings
• To undertake general administrative, document drafting and liaising with clients

The Person

• A law-related qualification would be highly desirable - i.e. LLB, LLM or LPC
• At least 6 months' worth of Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience within family law would be preferrable
• Strong organisational and time management ability would be essential for this role
