Company Overview

Service Care Solutions are currently seeking a Support Worker to join London Borough of Tower Hamlets Resettlement and Migration team. The role will be to work within the Children and Families Service on a fixed-term for three months, with the possibility of extension at the end of the term.

Job Responsibilities

Afghan Speaking Resettlement & Migration Officer Early Help and Children's Families Service

• Provide advice and support to help residents settle and integrate into the community
• Ensure that residents have access to employment, education, and leisure activities
• Consider safeguarding needs and make referrals to statutory agencies where necessary
• Undertake home visits to ascertain how the resident is integrating into their new life in the UK and offer assistance if required

Job Requirements

• Afghan speaking language skills (Farsi, Dari & Pashto) are essential
• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to carry out duties in many different environments within the community
• Clean Enhanced DBS
