Family Time Worker

Job Description

Do you have a passion for helping children and families stay connected? Are you a caring and flexible individual who thrives in a supportive environment?

We are seeking a dedicated Family Time Worker for Staffordshire County Council to play a vital role in helping children in our care maintain positive relationships with their families.

Pay: £15.41 an hour

Contract: 3 Months plus ongoing

Location: Stafford Town Centre

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate family time: You'll work with court orders and family needs to arrange visits between children and their parents or other family members.
  • Facilitate positive connections: You'll create a supportive environment for children to reconnect with their families, offering emotional support and guidance to both children and parents during these visits.
  • Ensure safe transportation: Sometimes, children need help getting to these visits. You'll arrange for safe and reliable transportation for them.
  • Maintain clear communication: Keeping detailed records of everything that happens during family time is important. You'll be responsible for accurate documentation and reports.
