Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work within a low secure Mental Health Unit for adults in East Cheshire.

The successful Healthcare Assistant will:

• Support individuals facing mental health issues, challenging behaviour, and complex needs.
• Provide high-quality patient care, including emotional support, medication administration, observations, personal care, and assistance with daily living activities.
• Must have experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Person Specification:

• Minimum 12 months experience in the UK as a Healthcare Assistant within a Mental Health setting.
• Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA), MAPA or equivalent form of physical restraint Training.
• Applicants must have proof of the following immunisations from the GP: Hep B, MMR, Varicella, BCG.
• Disclosure Barring Service Certificate (DBS) on the online update service.
• Applicants must have the full right to work in the UK and be available for consistent shifts.
