Location: Neurological Complex Care Service, Hereford
Salary: From £13.00 per hour (PAYE inclusive) + Uplifts for nights and weekends. Please note rates for this role will be paid PAYE we are unable to pay via Limited Company or Umbrella.
Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts to suit your schedule, Long Days and Nights available.
Role Overview: As a Mental Health Healthcare Assistant, you will work across the service, delivering person-centred care and therapeutic interventions. You'll play a key role in helping residents on their journey towards recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support to women with Neurological conditions
- Implement individualised care plans and therapeutic interventions.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Facilitate group activities, therapy sessions, and recreational outings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and occupational therapists.
- Maintain accurate records of observations and interventions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in mental health, neurological or rehabilitation settings, particularly with Neurological/ Complex Care is highly desirable.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to meet scheduled commitments.
- Compassionate, non-judgemental approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and autonomy for all residents.
- Car Driver would be beneficial due to service location
