Are you experienced in shared ownership, resales, or property management? This is an exciting opportunity for a Homeownership Support Officer to join a leading Housing Association based in King's Cross, with a strong focus on customer service, legal compliance, and revenue generation. THE ROLE
This is a vital role within the Home Ownership Support team, responsible for managing shared ownership staircasing and resale transactions while delivering outstanding service to leaseholders and buyers.
- Manage a caseload of staircasing and resale transactions from start to completion
- Act as a single point of contact for customers, delivering advice and progressing sales efficiently
- Support residents to increase their shares or sell their homes quickly and effectively
- Accurately set up, amend, and close leaseholder accounts in line with policy and compliance
- Proactively market homes for sale and vet incoming buyers in line with regulatory standards
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Provide admin support to the wider team and manage general email inbox enquiries
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in property management, particularly within shared ownership or low-cost home ownership products.
- Proven experience working in a housing or property sales/conveyancing environment
- Strong understanding of shared ownership, staircasing, and leasehold management
- Ability to read and interpret leases and provide clear guidance to customers
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 3-Month Contract, Temp to Perm
RATE: The pay for the role is £27.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £23.17 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
