Salary - £35,646 – £39,469 per annum
A forward-thinking housing provider is seeking an experienced Housing Performance and Systems Officer to join their performance and insight function. This role plays a vital part in supporting service delivery through system optimisation, performance reporting, and supporting the implementation of a new housing IT system.
This is a great opportunity for someone analytical and proactive, with experience in data management, project support, and system administration within a housing or public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SMART KPIs to measure and monitor service performance
- Maintain and update Power BI dashboards and produce management reports
- Support and train staff on the effective use of housing IT systems
- Assist with the implementation of a new housing system, including testing, feedback, and liaison with suppliers
- Collate and submit statutory data returns (e.g. CORE, NROSH, HCLIC, LAHS)
- Deliver training to staff and lead user forums to improve system use and reporting standards
- Prepare and maintain project documentation such as project plans, RAID logs, and highlight reports
- Liaise with service leads, ICT, and suppliers to resolve system or data issues
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong understanding of housing data and performance frameworks
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills; confident with Power BI
- Proven experience working with housing systems and delivering system improvements
- Effective communicator with the ability to train and support staff
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload across multiple tasks and stakeholders
- Confident working independently and contributing to wider team initiatives
- Experience supporting or leading housing-related IT system implementations
- Working knowledge of Prince2 or similar methodologies
- Experience using systems such as Uniclass, DRS, or Microsoft Project
- Background in housing or regulated public sector environment
