Housing Support Worker

Job Title: Support Worker - Young People and Care Leavers

DBS Level: Enhanced (both adult and child)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM shifts, 3-week rolling rota
Car Driver Needed: No
Own Vehicle Needed: No
Valid Business Insurance Required: If using a car

Main Duties:
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting and guiding 16-17-year-olds and Care Leavers up to 21, including young parents and children. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing support in developing independent life skills for young people.
* Assisting in the application process for benefits.
* Encouraging and facilitating engagement in education.

Role Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS clearance for both adults and children.
* Ability to work flexible hours as per the 3-week rolling rota.
* Experience in supporting young people and care leavers.
* Knowledge of benefit application processes.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Environment:
Lone working is a part of the role.
Working hours are within the 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM range, as per the 3-week rolling rota.
No work from home option.

Property Management:
Responsible for overseeing 15 bedspaces.
