Type: Temporary Ongoing
Location: Bristol, BS1
Start Date: ASAP
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday | 09:00am - 17:00pm

Join our client's team as a Transactional Support Advisor and contribute to the smooth operation of our HR services. This role is crucial in ensuring that managers, employees, and other users receive accurate and consistent HR, pay, and benefits services. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide competent advice and support in HR administration, pay and benefits, and support services including DBS.
  • Support managers with HR admin, pay, benefits, and DBS processes.
  • Produce accurate pay and benefits information.
  • Maintain accurate records and meet key performance targets.
  • Generate accurate performance and management information.
  • Ensure HR self-service information is accurate.
  • Advise on standard contracts, offer, and variation letters.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of HR policies.
  • Stay informed about relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Develop knowledge of specialized systems and processes.
  • Participate in change initiatives to improve service delivery.
  • Assist in the implementation of project outcomes.
  • Support management with delegated duties to achieve performance targets.
  • Rotate between different specialized roles to enhance knowledge and skills.


  • Experience in HR administration and pay and benefits services.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and relevant legislation.
  • Proficiency in specialized HR systems and processes.
  • Ability to produce accurate performance and management information.
  • Ability to participate in and support change initiatives.
