Leaving Care Social Worker

Wrexham Council are seeking a full-time Children's Social Worker to join their Leaving Care Team. The successful candidate will be based in Wrexham and will have a flexible working arrangement with 2 days per week in the office. The role involves providing a quality social work service that supports children to achieve their potential and achieve positive transitions to adulthood. The candidate will also be responsible for managing a number of young people to achieve the best outcomes for them, modelling best practice and mentoring others.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work and current Social Care Wales registration (or willingness to acquire).
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Access to your own vehicle.
  • Experience of relationship focused social work.
