Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a rota basis
Contract Duration: 18-Month Temporary Contract
DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS is essential

About Us:
We are currently searching for a motivated and resourceful Liaison Officer to join our team in Slough. Our primary mission is to help individuals transition from homelessness to more stable, long-term accommodations. In this role, you will focus on procuring privately rented properties, establishing positive relationships with landlords and property agents, and efficiently managing accommodation placements.

Key Responsibilities:
Accommodation Procurement: Source and secure privately rented properties that are suitable for individuals transitioning from homelessness.
Landlord Liaison: Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords and property agents, promoting our mission to provide safe and stable housing for those in need.
Accommodation Placement: Efficiently manage accommodation placements, ensuring they align with the specific needs and preferences of each individual.
Supportive Services: Collaborate with our support teams to provide the necessary assistance for clients to successfully maintain their tenancies.
Tenancy Sustainment: Oversee and support individuals in adapting to their new accommodations, offering guidance to maintain their tenancies long-term.
Progress Monitoring: Continuously track and assess the progress of clients as they transition into more stable housing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the housing market and tenancy agreements.
  • Experience in procurement and liaison with landlords or property agents.
  • Empathy and a commitment to helping vulnerable individuals find suitable accommodations.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required for this role.
