A client within the Public Sector based in West Midlands is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a surveying environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to carry out inspections of void and tenanted properties to agree work specifications. To be responsible for the delivery of a customer focused reactive maintenance service.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- To undertake feasibility studies and stock condition surveys, and to prepare specifications and schedule of works for possible remedial works.
- To provide regular updates of expenditure on capital budgets and performance of the services and to maintain financial and statistical records for all capital works including any special projects.
- Monitor and supervise contractors to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of work/contract.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require at least 3 years post qualification experience working in a building / surveying environment.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £32 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
