Job Description
One of the UK's largest retail distributors are looking for a Management Accountant (Retail) to join their team at their head office in Lancashire. They currently have over 600 locations they distribute to and over 3000 staff working for them. The post holder will report to the Retail Finance Director and manage the day-to-day activities of the Retail Accounts team with responsibility for the management accounts production, associated reporting, and reconciliations.
The post holder will lead and manage the Retail Accounts team, prepare and produce periodic management accounts for the company (150 stores), provide financial support in all retail projects and ensure junior members (5 direct reports) are trained and supervised.

Ideal Candidate
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA or nearly qualified
- Previous Management Accounts experience (retail industry preferred)
- Experience of managing/supervising junior staff
- Commitment to on-going development
- Excellent attention to detail, strong system and excel skills and effective communication
