MASH Coordinator

Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a MASH team coordinator to work in Hackney.

This role is initially for 5 months and requires applying candidates to have an enhanced DBS.

Based within the First Access Screening Team (FAST), you will be part of the single 'front door' for Children and Families Services, supporting the provision of an effective safeguarding response to professionals and members of the public who are concerned about a child's welfare and/or requesting services to meet identified needs.

The post holder will provide robust scrutiny and analysis of information held on a range of IT systems, assisting in the timely and efficient processing of referrals, decisions and actions. Contributing to the use of management information to identify trends and unmet need and influence the development of the service. The post will play a key role in supporting the development of the service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of referral and support mechanisms for services to children in Hackney.

The post holder will carry out a number of key administrative duties vital to the efficient running of the service. Using your skills to prioritise and organise, you will support FAST in the delivery of its objectives and play a key role in the identification and sharing of information to support the management of risk.

Successful candidates will be:

* Able to work flexibly, both individually and as part of a team

* Experienced in providing maintaining and development management information systems

* Able to collate, analyse and update data from internal and external sources

* Literate and numerate to a level at which statistical analysis can be carried out

* Able to present complex information in a timely manner and in a variety of formats including Google sheets and Google slides.

* Able to use G-suite effectively to administer and present information, and be a superuser for the service

* Able to communicate confidently, effectively and assertively with people at all levels, verbally and in writing.

* Able to manage a variety of demanding tasks simultaneously to achieve deadlines and targets.
