As an MHCA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support to patients across various locations within Lancashire (Blackpool, Chorley, Preston, Ormskirk, Whalley & Blackburn).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Encourage participation in social and leisure activities, promoting social inclusion and community engagement.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and consultants, to ensure holistic care delivery.
  • Foster a supportive and empowering environment where residents are actively involved in decision-making regarding their care and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care interventions, progress, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 6 Months UK experience working in a similar role within a care setting is essential.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues alike.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
