About the job:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi Carpenter to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for craftsmanship and quality service delivery within the social housing and residential sector. The successful candidate will be instrumental in carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring our properties are kept to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exercise typical Multi Trade Operative skills in relation to domestic maintenance and repairs
  • Execute routine Carpentry 1st and 2nd fix tasks across our residential properties.
  • Perform a range of multi-trade activities, including but not limited to Flooring, Tiling and other multi trade opportunities.
  • Collaborate as part of a team to provide exceptional service to all customers.
  • Manage van stock levels, maintaining a clean and professional appearance of the van at all times.
  • Uphold Health and Safety standards, ensuring all procedures and processes are followed.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, aiming to exceed expectations and minimize complaints.

Successful candidate requirements:

  • A Full, Valid Clean UK Driving License.
  • Proven skills and experience in Carpentry duties.
  • Basic competency in a main trade and at least one other trade.
  • Prior experience in reactive repairs within a social housing or residential setting.
  • A thorough understanding of maintenance and property management legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effective interaction both orally and in writing.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Self-motivated, with the confidence and ability to work autonomously.
  • Minimum NVQ 3 qualifications Carpentry.
