Temporary - 3 Months

We are seeking a professional and experiences New Homes Sales Executive to join a team based in York on a full time temporary basis for an initial contract period of 3 months. This is an office based role and the working days are Thursday-Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. The New Homes Sales Executive will play a vital role in achieving sales targets by promoting and selling new homes across multiple sites and tenures. Commission structure is £120 per sale.

  • Previous experience in property sales and marketing, minimum 6 months
  • Must have experience of selling Shared Ownership properties
  • Knowledge of Shared Ownership, Help to Buy, and Private Sale schemes
  • Excellent customer services and sales
  • Ability to interact with clients, build good rapport and team player
  • Highly numerate, literate, and an excellent communicator
  • Ability to assimilate, analyse, and interpret complex information
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both face-to-face and over the telephone
  • Demonstrable experience of identifying potential problems and taking appropriate action
  • Professional qualification in sales or relevant field (desirable)
  • Knowledge of IT processes, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel within the region as required

Role Expectations

  • Drive frontline sales performance for Shared Ownership, Help to Buy, and Private Sales
  • Achieve individual sales targets by securing reservations from plan and stock
  • Liaise closely with various internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless sales processes
  • Manage sales leads efficiently to ensure high customer satisfaction and conversion rates
  • Maintain expert knowledge of our developments, locations, and specifications to effectively promote our properties
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all sales transactions
  • Negotiate prices within pre-set margins and manage stock units on-site
  • Provide accurate reporting of performance metrics and contribute to sales-related events and initiatives
