Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to work within an NHS based Community Rehabilitation Service in Lancashire.

Placement Details

Shifts: Day Shifts

Contract Length: 5 Months+

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Pay : £21-26.78ph (Ltd) depending on banding and experience.

Mileage: 0.45p per mile for business mileage

Location: Lancashire

The aim of the Occupational Therapist is to help service users who are temporarily or permanently limited in their ability to carry out everyday activities, because of an operation, accident or illness, to be as independent as possible. This may include specific treatment for the condition and/or providing equipment or teaching and practicing easier ways of doing things. A key focus is to reduce deterioration in their physical functioning as well as their health well-being. The Occupational Therapists within the team support patients return home, from discharge to assess their placement and provide advice, equipment and rehabilitation plan to support them to remain safe and well.

The applicant must be a Qualified Occupational Therapist currently registered with the HCPC. It would be desirable if the applicant holds a DBS on the online update service, but not essential.

The applicant must have a full UK driving license and car suitable to use for work purposes.

We want to reward all Qualified Staff starting their journey with SCS. Once you have completed your registration with Service Care and secured a placement, we will pay you £150. Furthermore, we actively encourage candidates to refer friends or colleagues for work. A referral bonus of £250 will be paid on successful placement after a qualifying period.
