Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Gloucestershire for a Pay and Conditions Administrator to join the team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a payroll service for Gloucestershire County Council and external clients. The role involves processing payroll payments, dealing with pay queries and providing guidance on employment terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll payments.
  • Deal with pay queries via the ContactUs helpline.
  • Provide guidance on employment terms and conditions.
  • Prioritise workloads to ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Efficiently answer tax and pay queries.
  • Check information to ensure payrolls are accurate and meet statutory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Relevant administrative payroll experience.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of payroll processes.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service.
  • Ability to cope under pressure and manage competing demands.
  • The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in payroll or a related field.
