Salary: 10.63 - 11.91 per hour - 36.25 hour week

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Payroll & Pensions Assistant to join a local university on a temporary basis and assist the Payroll & Pensions Manager. The post holder will work as part of the Payroll & Pensions to contribute to the delivery of a high quality, customer focused, payroll and pensions service for the University Group and process prime financial documents and electronic documents such expense claims, overtime forms, invoices, credit notes and payment requisitions in accordance with Financial Regulations and agreed documented Payroll & Pensions procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • AAT Level 2 qualified or NVQ in Finance or Business Admin field
  • Experience of working in a complex payroll and pensions team
  • Use of Unit 4 Business World Financial software desirable
  • Sound IT knowledge and experience of working in a customer focused finance environment
